Teachers Without Borders volunteers are selected on the basis of an application and an interview. The virtual interview is conducted by the Finn Church Aid staff from both Finland and the host country. The application process may also include a written preliminary task. Applicants will be selected on the basis of their skills and availability.

The training required for the task will be organised in Helsinki on 11-13.1.2025 for those selected as volunteers. Volunteers going to the country will participate on 11.-13.1., those selected for remote tasks will participate on 11.-12.1. Please reserve your time for an interesting and rewarding training already during the application phase!

Volunteer placements will depend on the global and local situation, as well as on the availability of funding. The health and safety of volunteers and right holders is always a top priority.
